Actor Refutes Anti-Vaccine Views After Voicing Controversial Pandemic Film

The acclaimed actor has provided his voice to a new documentary that casts doubt on the efficacy of immunizations and praises former health official the political figure.

The Documentary's Provocative Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a popular book co-authored by Judy Mikovits, who gained notoriety during the global outbreak for allegations that the virus was linked to a problematic version of the flu vaccine.

Her co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has penned books with conspiracy-prone radio host the Infowars host. Heckenlively recently posted praising Neeson's participation in the documentary.

A Strong Denial

Representatives for Liam Neeson have issued a response firmly refuting implications that he holds anti-immunization sentiments.

"We all acknowledge that unethical practices might be present within the medical sector, but that cannot be confused with opposition to vaccines," the comment explains. "He is not, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His extensive work with the global charity reinforces his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

It added that the star did not shape the project's messaging and that questions about its claims should be directed to the filmmakers.

Central Assertions In the Feature

According to the documentary, the voiceover spoken by Neeson features several provocative points:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It declares that "science has become deeply politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown saying, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • The narration takes aim at pandemic restrictions, arguing they caused mental anguish that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it mentions a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Background and Ongoing Disputes

The documentary further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for editorial breaches.

Last month, Kennedy instructed the Centers for Disease Control to revise its longstanding position that there is no causal relationship between vaccines and autism. This supposed link is repeated in the film, contrary to a recent study from the World Health Organisation confirming no evidence has been found.

A Past Position of Endorsement

Standing in contrast to the film's tone, Neeson has in the past shown strong support for vaccines in his capacity as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary triumph," adding that "The debate about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's script stating, "This is not the end of our story. This is the start of a different phase."
